DESCRIPTION:Health Literacy workshops present a framework for understanding how the physical\, social\, and mental aspects of well-being can be understood holistically\, and provide low-cost or free local resources for achieving optimal health. \nThe El Salvadorian Consulate workshop has two (2) sessions\, the first starts at 9:00 AM. \nBoost Your Health Literacy with Gwinnett Coalition! \nJoin our enlightening Health Literacy Workshop to gain the skills you need to teach your clients how to understand\, access\, and use health information confidently. \nIn this course\, we will use the Health Literacy Triangle—physical\, social\, and mental—as a framework to explore how to: \n\nBuild Skills: Improve your ability to read\, listen\, and feel empowered to ask questions about health information.\nGain Knowledge: Understand medical terms\, navigate health systems\, and make informed choices.\nChange Behavior: Apply what you learn to advocate for yourself and your loved ones in healthcare settings.\n\nThis course empowers you to take control.
