Since early 2025, federal agencies have used funding to advance administration priorities through grant conditions, certifications, funding disruptions, audits, and more. Many nonprofits are still working to understand what these changes mean for their programs, staff, and the communities they serve.
The National Council of Nonprofits and Democracy 2025 are launching a new four-part Federal Grantee Roundtable Series to help federally funded nonprofit grantees, subgrantees, and other partners navigate these changes to federal funding, understand their rights and responsibilities, and identify strategies to protect their programs and the communities they serve. Sessions are designed for nonprofit leaders.
Join the national sessions (registration required):
- Monday, Nov. 16, 2:00 PM ET: Leveraging Federal Funds: an overview of federal actions affecting funding and steps grantees can take
- Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2:00 PM ET: Demystifying Audits and Investigations: how to recognize what kind of federal review you’re facing and how to respond
- Monday, Dec. 14, 2:00 PM ET: Operating While Under Threat: strategies to prepare for and respond to funding threats
- Tuesday, Jan. 12, 3:00 PM ET: National Litigation Updates: updates on key grant cases and how they impact grantees
In early 2027, the series continues with agency-specific, deep-dive sessions, so nonprofits can get details on the agencies that fund their work and learn from peers.
