Childcare Resources
One of the biggest challenges working parents face is finding quality child care centers. Unfortunately, since the pandemic, many centers have closed indefinitely while others are significantly understaffed, cutting corners and simply not meeting state standards. We encourage families to explore Quality Rated, a reliable tool provided by Georgia’s Department of Early Care & Learning, to help find child care programs that meet or exceed state requirements. This is a resource we trust!

Our local YMCA’s (JM Tull YMCA and Fowler YMCA) also offer great after school programs and childcare services on days when school is out. They also have some conditional scholarship programs available for families in need that might make this an ideal option for your family. The YMCA’s are currently students attending these schools: Benefield, Cooper, Lovin, Mulberry, Cedar Hill, Craig, Jenkins, Lawrenceville, Pharr, Simonton, Starling, Winn Holt, Graves, Nesbit, Stripling, Berkeley Lake, Peachtree and Simonton.
