Circles of Safety: Promoting Healthy Sexual Development & Preventing Child Sexual Abuse
As caregivers, one of the most important roles we have is ensuring our children are safe and supported, especially when it comes to sexual health and safety. The Circles of Safety training will empower you with the knowledge and skills to promote healthy sexual development, recognize warning signs of sexual abuse, and set up safety plans to protect children.
In this 2.5-hour session, you’ll learn how to:
✔️ Understand child sexual abuse and its prevention
✔️ Assess age-appropriate sexual behaviors in children
✔️ Interpret behaviors using context
✔️ Recognize early warning signs and respond appropriately
✔️ Use safety rules effectively and promote healthy touch
