Nonprofit Collaboration and Workforce Development

Strong nonprofits are essential to a thriving community. Through the Gwinnett Nonprofit Coalition, we help organizations build the connections, knowledge, and capacity they need to increase their impact and better serve Gwinnett residents.

We support nonprofit professionals through workforce development opportunities, peer learning, practical resources, and cross-sector collaboration. By connecting organizations with training, tools, and one another, we help strengthen the nonprofit workforce, improve organizational effectiveness, and align efforts around shared community priorities.

When organizations work together and invest in their capacity, the entire nonprofit ecosystem becomes stronger. This helps create lasting benefits for the more than one million people who call Gwinnett home.

How workforce development fits into our mission

Gwinnett Coalition aims to advance equity and community well-being. Consistent with our role as Gwinnett County’s Family Connection Collaborative, we envision a Gwinnett where:

  • All children are healthy, set for school, and succeed when they get there.
  • Families are stable, self-sufficient, and productive.
  • Communities are vibrant, robust, and thriving.

When the nonprofit sector is strong, the whole community benefits, creating a more equitable, resilient, and healthy Gwinnett.
