Human Trafficking: Preventing the Sexual Exploitation of Children
Human trafficking is a pervasive issue, and the sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) is a horrific form of abuse that requires community awareness and action. This free, 2-hour training will equip you with essential knowledge to recognize the signs of trafficking and exploitation and learn how to respond effectively.
In this session, you will:
- Learn about human trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC)
- Recognize the warning signs that victims of trafficking may exhibit
- Understand the vulnerabilities and red flags that increase the risk for exploitation
- Discover the resources available for victims and how you can help protect children
This training, developed in partnership with the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy and Child Advocacy Centers of Georgia, is essential for anyone working with children and families.
